Breakfast today: An avocado, two poached eggs in homemade bone broth.

I haven't been taking care of myself recently, and it's starting to show. My hair is being weird (though, to be honest, I don't know if it's just hat hair from these past few weeks), my nails are brittle, my skin isn't looking its best. It's easy to chalk all this up to age or weather or stress, but really it comes down to ignoring what my body's been telling me and eating take-out four times in a row last week. It's been a rough winter and I've made a quiet resolution to myself that starting this month (just in time for Lunar New Year!) things are going to get better. Starting with bone broth, organic eggs, and avocados this morning.
