Last night it was Westlife. This afternoon, I'm all into bone broth.
It was freezing out today, so I stayed in bed for ages before getting up and deciding to go to my happy place: a supermarket, any supermarket. I rather unwisely chose Whole Foods—which, as it turns out, is a nightmare on Sunday afternoons. So I wound up just grabbing a bag of organic spinach and some English cheddar before heading over to the much more manageable, pleasant, and easy-to-navigate Garden of Eden, where I bought a chicken.
When I got home, I shredded the chicken to make chicken Caesar cornets (secretly, the whole point of the outing), which are delicious, and I wound up eating four, which I probably shouldn't have, oh well. Since it was still early—and had just started to snow out, which means I was definitely staying in—I decided to get all domestic-y and make some chicken stock with the bones.
So. That's what I've been doing since about 3 p.m. That, and Googling "chicken bone broth health benefits." Wow. Apparently it's good for everything—including, but not limited to: cellulite, bone and tooth health, joints, hair, skin, your immune system, digestion, connective tissues, fatigue. Everything.
