Was just reading the blogs and someone wrote that if you grew up in 1980s, Michael Jackson is indelibly ingrained in your pop culture consciousness. And they wrote that when they were growing up, they thought that the most important people in the world were Ronald Reagan, Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.
I totally get it. Until I was about 11 years old, Michael Jackson was The Only pop star that mattered. He was definitely, for me, one of the most important people in the world in the 1980s.
