Up Late

My body's been doing the ole revert-to-GMT thing lately, circadian rhythm's all messed up, falling asleep at 9:30, waking up at 3:00 a.m., such fun. So it's 1:00 a.m. and it's the latest I've been up in ages, but I just got back from a late showing of Revolutionary Road, which I've been dying to see for ages. I kind of made Sam go with me. In retrospect it's probably not a good movie to take a boy to, any boy -- they'll hate it and it's super emotionally stressful. The tension onscreen makes you feel really claustrophobic, like you're trapped in this box, that house, with Kate and Leo. I sort of loved it, I know it got bad-ish reviews, but I'm a huge fan of this story genre -- in my teens through college The Women's Room was my favorite book.
