Holy smack.

When I was in grad school, I went to Selfridges to buy a Sisley face cream I'd gotten (from the publicist) when I'd been a summer intern somewhere. When the person at the counter told me it would cost $750, I completely balked. This is not exactly the same thing, but I'm making my list of what I need to pick up today before I leave for LA and I thought I'd get a refill on my favorite Dior Capture Totale foundation -- seriously, this stuff works miracles, can make even the tiredest face, the ruddiest, sallowest complexion look awake and well-rested, I use this every single day. But I kind of can't believe it costs $75! Hm. I mean, it's totally worth it because a bottle lasts for months, but cosmetic prices these days really do make me think twice...
