Okay, I think I'm in a fake NY yellow cab.

There's no license displayed or tag number. There's a sign saying there's a $5 charge to process domestic credit cards and $10 to process international credit cards. And there is no taxi riders bill of rights, annoying taxi tv screen or any of the other usual accoutrements. If this is a racket, it's a pretty good one. Also, the meter started at $2.90. Super-dodgy.

If I don't make it to my dinner reservation, look for the man in the fake yellow cab.
