Slept really poorly last night. Actually, didn't really sleep much at all. Was up late doing pre-fashion week prep work and all of a sudden it was 2:15 a.m. Went to bed and basically lay there quietly in the dark until just now when I got up to put the kettle on. Not sure what it is. This happens every season, I don't get to sleep much before or during fashion week. Maybe I have internalized anxiety? I can't imagine it's really that bad, since, in general, I feel fine during the day. Fashion week isn't even that hectic for me, it's just long hours at work, which I quite enjoy really. Yeah, I tend to really enjoy working. My mom thinks I'm going to go blind from staring at a computer screen all day long and my dad thinks I'm going to have a heart attack from stress + sedentary lifestyle. They're both probably right.
Today I've got a few fashion-week-related appointments lined up and then am going to have a mini-vacation at the US Open tonight.
I just made myself a triple espresso with a heaping tablespoon of sugar.
