Halfway through

I'm so happy to be home at a normal-ish hour. just ordered huge amounts of Chinese food, yum. I'm feeling a little geriatric because my right hip is hurting, but I'm sure it's just stress related. I wonder how long we can write things off as stress related until they become actual problems that we have to deal with.

This whole week has got me wondering -- what would happen to fashion week if it became strictly an industry event? Like, god forbid, the designers were forced to rely not on celebrity front-rows or goody bags or favors and gifts and big advertising budgets to get people to pay attention to their clothes -- but on the designs of the clothes themselves? What would happen to fashion week?

I imagine it would be something closer to Paris.
